Management
Joshua Bruno, is a successful real estate investor and developer with over ten years of experience in the Gulf Coast region. He currently specializes in development and management of multi-family properties in the New Orleans metro area. In response to the demand for safe, affordable housing for metro New Orleans families, as well as housing for temporary workers who have flocked to New Orleans to aid in the area’s rebuilding, he opened Downtown Development Group and Metro-Wide Apartments. All of his properties are owner managed by a staff which specializes in assisting tenants with housing needs.
With the motto of “Bring Louisiana Home,’ Bruno has worked closely with returning hurricane evacuees, the migrant worker community, FEMA, DHAP, the Archdiocese of New Orleans, the Unity Road Home Program, Catholic Charities, and numerous other non-profit groups to provide affordable housing after Hurricane Katrina.
Bruno’s garden style apartment communities feature all high-end amenities: digital phones; gated off-street parking; usable green space/gated courtyards; on-site bi-lingual staff and security; 24-hour monitored CCTV security systems; and energy efficient lighting/plumbing.
The Management team of Joshua Bruno’s company Metro-Wide Apartments is responsible for managing all of his apartment complexes and duplexes. With a management philosophy geared towards assisting individuals in obtaining safe, affordable housing, they will bend of backwards to keep their tenants happy.
They currently work with organizations such as FEMA, DHAP, and HANO, as well as many other organizations in order to insure the safe living of many of New Orleans residents. They will work out payment plans to work with tenants, drive potential tenants to view apartments, and work with any of a number of government and non-profit organizations to ensure the happiness and well being of their tenants. They are trained to work with fixed income individuals, physically and mentally handicapped individuals, the elderly, and anyone else who needs special assistance.
